Are you interested in gaining skills that you cannot get in a lecture? Are you looking to explore new and exciting leadership opportunities within Innis College? If your answer is “YES”, then Innis’ Leadership Committee is the right place for you. Some of you may have heard of our Leadership series entitled: In2U. For those of you who have not heard of it, get ready for something great! In2U offers three core workshops over the course of the academic year.
The first session is called In2U: Pathways to Leadership and is intended for those looking to gain, brush-up or polish-up on their leadership skills. Our second workshop is called In2U: Students in Leadership and aims to help students achieve their leadership potential within and external to the College. The third and final component is called In2U: Transition to Leadership where newly elected, appointed, volunteered or hired student leaders have the opportunity to meet and learn from current student leaders. In addition to these three workshops, students will also have the opportunity to practice many of their newly-learned skills through a series of networking seminars known as Back-Pack to Briefcase (B2B), hosted by the Innis Alumni Office.
During the day-long conference you will participate in peer-led sessions, wellness and experiential learning activities, listen to a keynote speaker, and come together for a networking and social event!
Leading Together focuses on connecting students and turning ideas into action in all areas of leadership.
