Hey incoming commuters! Orientation Week 2017 is coming soon, but we have a special, one day, Commuter Orientation happening on August 26th. Students who have attended in the past have said that it not only helped to prepare them for their life as a commuter student at U of T, but it also helped to prepare them for Orientation itself, making the whole experience more fun and more memorable. Registration is now open, but only until August 12th and spaces are limited, so sign up now!
Hello Innis! I’m Stephanie, one of your Orientation Coordinators for Innis College Orientation 2017, and I am thrilled to be welcoming you all in the fall! Elissa and I have been working hard, along with our executives and leaders, to bring you the most inclusive, informative, and inspiring Orientation Week possible, and we look forward to meeting you! A little bit about me: I am going into my third year currently studying a double major in both English and French Literature, aspiring to work in education. This year I hope to help foster, with the help of each and every one of you, an even stronger Innis community, inclusive and accessible to all. For me, Innis has been a hub of opportunity and community since my very first day of Orientation, and I look forward to sharing that with you. Can’t wait to see you all here!
Hey Class of 2021! My name is Elissa and I am one of your Orientation Coordinators here at Innis. I am a third year student majoring in Physiology and Global Health, and minoring in Psychology. As an out of province student I understand how transitioning not only into university life, but life in a new city, can be challenging. I decided to be an orientation coordinator because I hope to make every Innis student feel adjusted and at home during a time that can be exciting but scary! I hope to create accessible events that suit each and every one of you. I can’t wait to share them with you!
