BLUES TO BATTLE RAMS IN DOWNTOWN SHOWDOWN, PRESENTED BY DUKE OF YORK
The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s and women’s basketball teams host the Ryerson Rams in the Downtown Showdown, presented by Duke of York in our Under Armour Games of the Week this Friday, February 1 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
The women’s game, which will also serve as U of T’s annual Shoot for the Cure event, is set to tip off at 6 p.m., with the men to follow at 8 p.m. Advance tickets are on sale here.
Junior Blues gymnastics is set to perform at halftime of the women’s game after raising over $1,000 at their bake sale last weekend. Also at halftime, Varsity Blues women’s basketball team member Sara Knowles, as well as women’s hockey goalie coach Dave Wakabayashi, will be cutting their hair in support of the cause.
There will be many chances to win great Duke of York prizes and gift certificates!
