The Registrar’s Office will hold an Academic Orientation Session for all new students on Saturday 22 June 2019. Topics we will cover include how to use the Calendar and the Registration Instructions & Timetable to choose and enrol in your courses, as well as tips for financing your degree and looking ahead to graduate school.
There will also be upper-year Innis student mentors on hand to answer any and all of your questions, so don’t be shy to approach them—they are there to help you! We will also host a session on Student Life in the afternoon, where you will learn how to get involved in the Innis and wider university communities.
If you can’t make the full-day session on June 22, attend one of the mini-sessions on July 8 or 17.
Unable to make it to any of the sessions? Don’t worry. We have put up a PDF summary of the information we will cover. Last year’s session are also available on the Registrar’s YouTube channel. Additionally, you are invited to book a one-hour Skype, phone, or in-person appointment with Denise Gray, our Academic Counsellor for new students, at the Registrar’s Office. Welcome to Innis! We hope to see you at one of the sessions this summer!
